Cardiovascular exercise improves circulation to the brain, calming the nervous system and improving deep (slow wave) sleep while helping reduce stress & anxiety.Incorporating some light stretching before bed can help relax the peripheral nervous system, helping relax the muscles and calm the body.
You have to treat sleep like it is a component of your training regimen. Ritualize your bedtime routine. Tech down at least 30min before bed, ensure your bedroom remains cool and dark and invest in a quality mattress.
